CORA - The Neumann Center
CORA, which stands for Counseling Or Referral Assistance, is a private, nonprofit, community-based organization, whose programs and services are available to all. The services it provides include alternative education and job training helping high-school drop outs obtain GED, computer and clerical skills and life skills. Job training, job placement assistance, teen parenting classes, counseling and drug and alcohol prevention classes. Serves at-risk youth ages 16-21.

Horizon House Rehabilitation Services, Inc. -- Vocational Services Department
This program provides one-on-one, on-the-job training, vocational skills training in clerical, receptionist, and food service, janitorial, mailroom, and supply room businesses. Adult basic education and college preparatory classes. Prevocational Industrial Workshop training available for those enrolled in Horizon House Partial Hospitalization Programs.

Lutheran Settlement House's Community Education and Employment Department (CEED)
All services are open to both Spanish and English speakers and include English as a second language classes, GED classes, and technology-oriented career training for homeless and low-income individuals. LSH collaborates with the Dept. of Public Welfare to support people in planning for education and employment.
